 Located just 3 miles from Castlemaine, Co. Kerry, An Riocht Rifle & Pistol Club is the only centrefire shooting range in Kerry. Established in 2007, our club welcomes shooters of all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. Whether you’re interested in precision shooting, clay practice, or simply improving your skills, we have the facilities and expertise to help you succeed.

50m Pistol Range

Our 50m pistol range is perfect for both smallbore and centrefire pistols. It is suitable for beginners learning the fundamentals and experienced shooters refining precision and accuracy in a safe, controlled environment for consistent training.

300m Rifle Range

The 300m rifle range suits a variety of disciplines, from F-Class to Classic Rifle. With a fully operational butts system, it offers long-range practice that helps shooters improve focus and consistency in a safe, controlled environment for every ability.

Automatic Clay Trap

The automatic clay trap is designed for shotgun shooters of all abilities. It launches clay targets smoothly and reliably, helping participants develop accuracy, reaction skills, and confidence in a safe, controlled environment for all levels.

F-Class Shooting

A high-precision, long-range discipline shot from the prone position using scoped rifles and rests. Our 300m range provides the perfect challenge for shooters seeking accuracy under changing wind conditions and offers a professional environment to refine skill, focus, and consistency.

Classic Rifle

A nostalgic discipline using rifles manufactured before 1955, including Lee Enfield and Schmidt Rubin models. Shot at 300 yards, it’s popular with enthusiasts who value traditional marksmanship, precision shooting, and the craftsmanship of historic firearms, with careful technique.
